The commemoration of the 55th anniversary of Alpha Omega Alumnae continues. Our next anniversary event is a “paying it forward” one, where our organization will sponsor a fundraiser for another Ukrainian organization whose mandate closely coincides with that of AOA – the fostering of Ukrainian culture.
The Ukrainian Museum and Village Society located in Gardenton MB, is looking forward to celebrating its Jubilee 50th birthday in 2015, but has been going through tough times financially. The executive of AOA has made the decision to hold a Bud and Spud and Steak/Chicken dinner fundraiser for the purpose of assisting this sister organization. We are hopeful that every one of our members will join together for this worthy cause by coming out to our fundraising dinner.
If you have any items that could be donated to the Silent Auction, these would be greatly appreciated. Your help at the event would also be welcome.
